Wind

A Breath of Fresh Air

The US currently generates about 113 gigawatts of wind power per year. For comparison, the Las Vegas Strip alone requires 2,900 gigawatts per year, nearly 25 times the power produced by all the nation’s wind farms. That means the US captures just a fraction of the wind energy needed to support a nationwide switch to clean energy.

It also means there’s a lot more room for growth in the American wind energy sector. According to the Department of Energy, the US will double its wind power output by 2030.  The only way to accomplish this milestone: Build more wind turbines. In other words, more wind energy projects and workers will be in sky-high demand over the coming years. SiteWorker’s network connects wind energy companies with subcontractors and workers looking to support this lucrative space.
